The other day, I posted a story about RHOA star NeNe Leakes being apart of a new TV One series and wasn’t sure about her role or any details. Well, TV One sent me an email late last night with all of the deets and I can’t be more excited.

The new docuseries is titled “UNCENSORED” and it explores the intimate lives of today’s stars and personalities. It premieres next month on Sunday, February 18 at 10 p.m. EST.

The 10-episode semi-autobiographical series gives unprecedented access to our favorite faces including Leakes as well as Tiffany Haddish, LaLa Anthony, Tamar Braxton, Charlemagne Da God, Le’Andria Johnson, Nia Long, Rick Ross and Snoop Dogg. It features them in their own stories, in their own words, in the places where their stories unfolded.  The show is also the first project to be greenlit by general manager Michelle Rice, who also developed the concept.

UNCENSORED is an edgier, in-depth docu-series where the subjects get to talk the audience in first person about the moments in their lives that helped make them who they are today,” said Rice. “TV One is about telling authentic stories and this show will chronicle people of influence in pop culture, music and entertainment that captivate people of all ages.”

In its first season, “UNCENSORED” dives deep into the lives of these celebrated individuals with first-hand accounts of their road to stardom from the stars themselves. They speak directly and candidly about their personal triumphs and successes, the obstacles and challenges they have faced, and the pivotal moments that have shaped their lives and careers. No topic is off limits as they discuss issues relevant to today’s national dialogue such as race relations, drugs and violence, and sexual harassment.

In addition to first-person interviews, “UNCENSORED” uncovers little known facts with an expansive and impressive list of friends and family who know them best.
