Omari Hardwick has to be the hardest working man in Hollywood. Not only is the versatile actor and poet host of TV One’s Verses and Flow, he is also starring in 50 Cent’s new STARZ drama, Power and he’s returning to BET along with Gabrielle Union in the adult series, Being Mary Jane.
In addition to all of that, he just completed filming the romantic holiday film, A Christmas Blessing with Lisa Arrindale Anderson. Now the Decatur, GA native is starring in a new suspense thriller entitled Last Letter.
According to Indie Wire, the film’s synopsis reads as follows:
“Sharon Leal and Omari Hardwick head an all-star cast in this twisted, psychological thriller as newlyweds Catherine and Michael. The couple’s marriage is threatened by Michael’s disapproving mother (Lynn Whitfield) and Catherine’s own terrifying secret: a crippling sleep disorder that blurs nightmare and reality. When a terrifying incident from her past returns to haunt her, she turns to her foster brother and closest confidant, George (Gary Dourdan), who vows they will stick together… no matter what!”
The film features an all-star cast including Rocsi Diaz, Tatyana Ali, Richard T. Jones, Bill T. Cobbs, Marc Singer and Lynn Whitfield. Last Call is produced by RLJ Entertainment/One Village and directed by Paul D. Hannah.
