You know you’re a bad chick when you can get Oprah Winfrey and Sade to attend one of your events.
Reportedly, the two iconic women were among the 120 invited guests for Tina Turner’s post wedding celebration. The “What’s Love Gotta To Do With It” singer hosted the very private, Buddhist-inspired event on Sunday to commemorate her recent wedding to long-time partner, Erwin Back. The lavish affair took place at Turner’s Swiss lakeside estate near Zurich.
According to THR, the 73-year-old rock and soul diva wed the 57-year-old German music executive a little over a month ago at the town hall of her wealthy community. Turner is now an official citizen of Switzerland and renounced her U.S. citizenship in January.
Other special invited guests included music legend David Bowie, fashion giant Giorgio Armani and 80’s pop singer Bryan Adams who tweeted, “Just sang “All For Love” for Tina and Erwin on Lake Zurich. Congratulations to the newlyweds!”
Congratulations to the happy couple!
RC will keep you posted on this special occasion as pictures and video are sure to come.
