Tamar Braxton may have found a new musical home in Epic Records.
The Braxton Family Values star was recently spotted among the company’s roster of artists. According to TV One, it has been a long road for the 35-year-old singer when it comes to consistent records labels. Over the past year, she has been linked to four including Dreamworks Records, Casablanca Records and Universal Records. Her most recent association was with her husband, Vincent Herbert’s Streamline Records but now it appears she has moved on from there as well.
For now, Braxton is signed to Epic although there has been no official announcement from the label or from Tamar’s camp. This might also explain why her highly anticipated album Love and War, which was originally scheduled to debut in February, has been pushed back.
Braxton is certainly an in demand vocalist! Her first single “Love and War” received well over 84,000 iTune downloads during its first week and debuted at number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
