Jazz sensation Esperanza Spalding is gearing up to host a new program on Magic Johnson’s ASPIRE television network as part of its fall line-up.

The show, “Groundbreaking Music” will include performances of “Earth, Wind and Fire Live,” “Beyond the Steps: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater” and “Dorothy Dandridge: Singing at Her Best.”

You may remember Spalding as the singer that beat Justin Bieber and Drake in the Best New Artist category at the 2011 Grammy Awards. She also performed a beautiful rendition of the Louis Armstrong classic, “What a Wonderful World” at this year’s Grammy Awards program.  Take a look…
