Obama supporters will have a chance to support his re-election efforts and meet the cast of the popular HBO series, The Wire.
According to TheGrio, the cast from Obama’s ‘favorite show’ will appear at a fundraiser for the President on August 15th and is hosted by Judy and Ron Davenport at their home in Martha’s Vineyard. It has not been confirmed which cast members will attend.
Tickets to the affair can be purchased for $500 a guest, $2500 per host at the Obama Campaign website.
The Wire aired on HBO for 5 seasons from 2002-2008.
