Last October, we reported that Kevin Hart was teaming up with ABC for a new comedy based on his stand-up material. Well, now it appears that the network has ordered the pilot with Hart in the producer’s seat.

According to S&A/Indie Wire, the 34-year-old actor will executive produce the untitled project along with 3 Art’s Dave Becky, Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan.  The series follows a divorced couple as they try to reconcile their relationship as friends for the sake of their children despite their differences.

Hart is definitely Hollywood’s ‘man of the hour.’ His current film, Ride Along  is still holding the no. 1 spot at the box office for the second weekend in a row. He is also set to release his next romantic comedy, About Last Night  on February 14 and his BET series, Real Husbands of Hollywood  continues to be a ratings winner. In addition to that, he slated to debut three more films this year including Think Like A Man Too,  School Dance,  and possibly Finally Famous.  He also has The Wedding Ringer  with Jenifer Lewis which is currently filming and is due in theaters 2015.

Kudos to Kevin Hart!
