THR has revealed that funnyman Kevin Hart is in talks to star in a remake of the 1974 classic film, Uptown Saturday Night.

We reported back in April of 2012, that Will Smith had initially acquired the rights to the film and was going to possibly star in a remake with Denzel Washington. Now it’s being said that Smith is going to produce the project along with Blackish creator Kenya Barris as the writer and Hart as one of the lead actors.
