TheYBF is reporting that singers Angie Stone and former Xscape member LaTocha Scott are joining season two of TV One’s popular reality series, “R&B Divas.”
As previously reported, shooting has already begun for the new season and its original cast of Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Monifah, Keke Wyatt and Syleena Johnson. Now it’s being reported that cameras were also seen following Angie Stone during last year’s Soul Train Awards and most recently following LaTocha Scott at the Trumpet Awards in Atlanta.
Although it was rumored last November that Stone would be joining the group, it was not confirmed until now.

Of course both ladies are expected to bring some drama and new “T” to the show. Angie Stone has a child from R&B 90’s heartthrob D’Angelo while LaTocha Scott still works with her baby’s father since he is her manager. Plus, she is reuniting with her Xscape sister Tamika Scott, for the 20th Anniversary So So Def Concert in Atlanta on February 23.
The official announcement about the two additions to the show will be made soon as season two kicks off in April. Don’t forget about the L.A. spinoff of the show that is also taping even though no cast members have been announced.
