Super-producer Pharrell Williams is taking a stab at being a talk show host on his new internet talk program, ARTST TLK, which runs on the YouTube-based Reserve Channel. The versatile rapper is usually the one answering the questions but is now in the power seat and talking it up with other content creators.
According to Forbes, Williams seems to think this new format is the wave of the future.
“I think 20-30 years from now, content will be consumed in a completely different way…It may not be something that’s handheld.
He continues to say, “If you think about the concept of singularity, it’s not so farfetched to believe that there will be some sort of interface with the body …I’m not sure how, but that’s where we’re headed.”
The first show, which aired last month, featured Ben Mezrich, author of Facebook history The Accidental Billionaires and Andy Greenberg, author of hacker expose This Machine Kills Secrets.
