CONGRATS to my media boo Candance Ledbetter and her company CNBetter Media. They have been named the “Agency of Record” for the Pan African Film Festival (PAFF), which is taking place February 8-19 at the Cinemark Baldwin Hills Crenshaw in Los Angeles, CA.
The Pan African Film Festival is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation dedicated to the promotion of cultural understanding among peoples of African descent through the exhibition of film, art and creative expression. It is spearheaded by my good buddy Ayuko Babu and Goodtimes star Ja’net Dubois.
“We are very pleased to welcome CNBetter Media to the PAFF family,” confirms Babu, Executive Director of the Pan African Film Festival. “The experience, organization and planning abilities that they bring to the table make them a great addition to our team. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.”
“We are extremely excited about this opportunity to serve the Pan African Film Festival. PAFF is a trailblazer in the industry of cultural film and art festivals; therefore, we don’t take it lightly to be a part of realizing their vision for 2018,” says Candace Ledbetter. “We are both honored and committed to amplifying their legacy and success, fortifying their new and existing relationships and furthering their impact on culture, community and history.”
CNBetter Media s a multi-faceted agency specializing in public relations, brand building, event planning, experiential marketing and social media strategy — will govern the media and talent relations for the festival, now in its 26th year.
I am super excited about this partnership considering my relationships with both Candace and Ayuko. RC covered the Pan African Film Festival Atlanta back in August 2014 when they presented the premieres of Supremacy, Girlfriends Getaway and Belle.
Stay tuned…
