Media mogul Oprah Winfrey hosted a special Super Soul Gospel Brunch at her Montecito, CA home yesterday in celebration of her new book, The Wisdom of Sunday: Life-Changing Insights from Super Soul Conversations.
The book will be released tomorrow (Tuesday, October 17) and features personal essays from Ms. Winfrey and aha moments from thought-leaders who have appeared on her Emmy-winning OWN series, “Super Soul Sunday.” Such amazing words of wisdom will come from Gary Zukav, Shonda Rhimes, Devon Franklin, Brene Brown, President Jimmy Carter, Eckhart Tolle, Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra and many more.
The Super Soul Gospel Brunch included performances by BeBe Winans, Donald Lawrence, Common, Andra Day and Erica Campbell. Invited celebrities included Yolanda Adams, Cynthia Erivo, Sterling K. Brown and his wife Ryan Michelle, Niecy Nash, Angela Bassett, DeVon Franklin and wife Meagen Good and many more!
In addition to watching “Super Soul Sundays,” you can also hear the conversations at “Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversations.” It OWN’s first-ever podcast and in debuted in August on Apple Podcasts.
