Destiny’s Child founding member LaTavia Roberson wasn’t pleased with her portrayal on the popular TV One reality series “R&B Divas” and has decided to take back her image and brand with a new web series titled, “The Online Diary of LaTavia Roberson.” The project is being produced by the Grammy winning-singer and released through her new production company, LaTavia Roberson Entertainment.

The 13-minute clip is the first of seven video entries about her career and life as a mother to her two-year-old daughter, Lyric. The first video debuted today on YouTube and Vimeo. However, yours truly got a chance to see it last night at a private mixer where she also announced that she was three months pregnant with her second child.

“I have been on reality TV before and was portrayed in a certain way. I’m just so glad that this time people will get a glimpse of who I am from my perspective as opposed to how other people tried to portray me. I’m not this timid, little person that doesn’t do anything. I am very outgoing. I’m crazy. I’m emotional. I’m a mother. I’m a Scorpio. I’m all of those things and more,” said Roberson to the group of Atlanta reporters.
In addition to the web series, Roberson is also producing another Atlanta-based reality series and is still planning to release her tell-all-book about her experience as a founding member of the girl group, Destiny’s Child. She also revealed that she will address all of the rumors about her alleged cosmetic surgery in her next video diary that will air sometime in July.
