Devious Maids starlet Tiffany Hines has landed the role of a lifetime. The 32-year-old actress has been tapped to portray R&B singer and reality star, Tamar Braxton for the upcoming Toni Braxton biopic, Un-Break My Heart. The highly anticipated project, which will air on Lifetime, is being executive produced by Braxton herself and directed by veteran actor, Vondi Curtis Hall. Casting for Toni and the rest of her siblings is currently underway. The film will focus on her meteoric rise to superstardom in the 1990s.  [ESSENCE]

black-ish  star Laurence Fishburne is taking on the role of South African icon, Nelson Mandela for the upcoming BET television mini-series, Madiba. The project is based on two books about the late human rights leader, Nelson Mandela By Himself and Conversations with Myself and will be executive produced by his grandson, Kweku Mandela.
