If you’re a fan of UP TV, then Nadia Simone is doing her job!  She is the marketing manager for the Atlanta-based network. In this position, Simone manages the development of consumer facing key art for all tent-pole initiatives while overseeing pre & post production marketing efforts for UP Original Movies and Series. She also serves as a script judge for the screenplay competition in partnership with ABFF.

Simone and in partnership with the American Black Film Festival, served as script judge for the network’s Faith and Family Screenplay Competition

Born in East St. Louis, Simone is a proud graduate of Alabama State University and holds a B.A degree in Public Relations. Prior to coming to UP, she served as  a media planner for Turner Media Group and helped developed media strategies for the ground-breaking documentary, Black In America. The two-part series put a huge spotlight on various issues facing the Black community and is considered one of CNN’s “most watched programs.”

Since she’s been at UP, Simone has increased the network’s visibility and viewership. It was her marketing and branding expertise, that helped the network launch its strongest reality series, Bringing Up Bates. In fact, the show garnered eight million viewers in season one.  #GONadia

When Simone is not in the office brokering deals, she is in the community. She is a firm believer in giving back and has previously served as a teen mentor with Cool Girls, Inc.

Please help me give a virtual round of applause to #FORDATL Ambassador, NADIA SIMONE!
