Comedian Kim Coles is going behind the lens to co-produce a new unscripted series for WEtv titled, Sisters In Law. According to Indie Wire, the series focuses on a group of black women lawyers in Houston, Texas, who call themselves the “Sisters in Law.” The show follows their shared struggles for success in the legal field. Coles is serving as co-producer along with Laura Halperin. The show is also being produced by Collins Avenue Entertainment and exec produced by Jeff Collins, Michael Hammond, Sandi Johnson and Bryan Stinson.

WEtv is also adding Ladies of Law, a new Mona Scott-Young production which follows four powerful and glamorous African-American female lawyers who specialize in entertainment law.  This project is produced by Young’s Monami Entertainment alon with exec producers Stefan Springman, Mala Chapple and Toby Barraud of Eastern.

Look for these shows to debut sometime in 2016.
