UPTOWN Uncorked made a pit stop in Atlanta last night for an eclectic mix of food, wine, culture and fine automobiles. The event is part of a national partnership between Lexus, UPTOWN Magazine and Diageo and featured the culinary delights of Chefs Dwayne L. Hairston and Mike Valli.
Crowd enjoying the food and spirits
“Lexus Presents UPTOWN Uncorked is an opportunity for the brand to bridge its passion for cutting-edge, luxury design, as found on the all-new NX crossover, to a food and wine experience that is tailored to the culture and lifestyle of our audience,” said Stacy Henderson, Lexus Advertising Planner. “Our customers are highly sophisticated and well-traveled, but still have a strong desire for community, local flare and new discoveries. The UPTOWN Uncorked tour offers a taste of all these things.”

The private event took place at The Foundry at Puritan Mill and was attended by Fashion Queen’s Miss Lawrence, music mogul Chaka Zulu and number of other Atlanta influencers. The evening also served as a way to feature the all-new 2015 Lexus NX 300h. Scheduled for release in fall 2014, the NX has edgy and striking design cues and was developed from the perspective of young, luxury drivers with active, urban lifestyles. The five-city tour will continue with dates in Dallas, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and San Jose, Calif.
