Lifetime TV  is taking us back to school this fall with a made-for-television movie based on the popular cast of the 90’s teen series, Saved by the Bell.

According to NYDailyNews, The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story  will delved into the lives of the six teenagers and take a closer look at their “on and off-screen” relationships. Reportedly, the film is based on “hours of brand-new interviews” conducted with the original cast members. It is also being said that the show’s original casting director Rob Lippin personally selected the young actors who will portray the stars of the real show.

Here is a rundown of the cast:

  • Taylor Russell McKenzie (Lark Voorhies/Lisa Turtle),
  • Dylan Everett (Mark-Paul Gosselaar/Zach Morris),
  • Alyssa Lynch (Tiffani-Amber Thiessen/Kelly Kapowski),
  • Julian Works (Mario Lopez/A.C. Slater),
  • Tiera Skovbye (Elizabeth Berkley/Jessie Spano)
  • Sam Kindseth (Dustin Diamond/Screech Powers)

The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story  premieres Monday, September 1 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
