Hollywood heartthrob Lance Gross is coming to prime time for NBC’s new thriller, Crisis.

The one-hour drama follows Gross as Marcus Finley, an idealistic Security Service agent who finds himself at the center of an international crisis on his first day on the job as the President’s son protection, when the son, along with several of his schoolmates, are kidnapped.

The series also stars Dermot Mulroney, Gillian Anderson and Michael Beach as the FBI Director who’s managing the crisis.

As previously reported, this is Gross first time as a lead for a television series. He is best known for his role as Calvin Payne on Tyler Perry’s House of Payne.

I had a chance to preview the first episode on last Thursday night and from the crowd’s responds, its looks like we’ll being seeing a lot of more Gross this season. The show definitely has enough twist and turns to keep television audience coming back for more week after week.
