Supermodel and former talk show host, Tyra Banks has announced that she is returning to the big screen for a follow up to her 2000 Disney made-for-TV-movie,  Life-Size.

Banks confirmed the news in a recent interview with Digital Spy saying:  “I have a meeting today to go over the script! I swear! I don’t think it’ll be out until probably 2015, but I’m guessing – it could be late 2014 or 2015. But it will be back – Life-Size will be back, better than ever […] I can’t [tell you anything] unfortunately… I’m under contract with Disney and I can’t talk about it at all, except that it’s coming. But it will be very different, very different. Very modern – a modern take.”

The original film starred a very young Lindsay Lohan as a widower’s daughter who accidentally brings to life her Barbie-like doll, Eve (Banks) while trying to cast a spell to resurrect her mother.

Rumors of a sequel have been circulating since 2012. However, it wasn’t until Banks announced the news this week that things were totally confirmed.  It’s also not clear if Lohan will reprise her role.

Former Disney star Miley Cyrus was also excited about the news and tweeted the following message:
