ATL was turnt up Tuesday night for the private screening of Bravo’s newest reality series, The New Atlanta. The two-hour event was held at the Museum Bar and also served as the official Atlanta launch of Myx Fusions Moscato. This is the newest moscato wine that we talked about last spring that comes in three unique flavors including original, coconut and peach and is co-owned by Young Money princess, Nicki Minaj.
The New Atlanta follows five young, urban professionals as they try to achieve their dreams and find love as they struggle to resolve heartbreaks from the past. Aggressive in both their professional and personal lives, each hopes to make their mark in the cutthroat industries of fashion, music, event planning and business while taking advantage of Atlanta’s hot social scene.
Alex Dilworth, Emily Lipman, Africa Miranda (pictured left), Tribble Reese and Jevon “Vawn” Sims make up the cast of young hopefuls. The show, which was originally called Taking Atlanta, is produced by the queen of the Love and Hip-Hop franchises and Chief Marketing Officer of Myx Fusions, Mona Scott-Young.
A number of ATL celebs were in attendance including Keyshia Cole’s sisters Neffe and Elite, actor Cedric Pendleton from Tyler Perry’s The Have and the Have Nots, Mary, Mary producer Justin A. Moore and Miss North Carolina USA Johna Edmond. Also spotted in the crowd were Kayo The Prince, Jupitr, Jazze Pha, Victor Jackson, April Love, and Jasmine Ali from Bravo’s Chef Roble & Co. Radio personality Rashana Ali served as host while DJ Fadelf provided guests with a hot mix of old school R&B and new school sounds.
Closing out the evening was an appearance from the cast of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta including newlyweds Stevie J and Joseline Hernandez, Benzino, Lil Scrappy and his new girlfriend Bambi, who apparently got into a brief spat with cast member, Mary Jane.
The New Atlanta premieres next Tuesday, September 17 at 10 p.m. following the premiere of I Dream of Nene at 9 p.m. EST. Check out more pictures below:
