It was the “thump” that was heard around the world…and it happened to Khyati Shah, the concert goer whose head hit the stage as a result of Miguel’s failed attempt at jump kicking during last month’s Billboard Award performance. The vocalist, who was singing his hit single, “Adorn,” attempted to leap from one stage to another when he accidentally landed his crotch on Shah’s head.
Well, now the producers of the Billboard Awards are saying they ordered Miguel not to attempt the stunt but apparently he ignored them. According to a report from TMZ, the singer asked producers right before the show if he could attempt jumping over the crowd but they told him no and said the stunt was too dangerous.
To add insult to injury (pun intended) Shah is allegedly suing Miguel for possible brain damage. According to BET, Shah’s lawyer’s say she may have suffered neurological head injury and is awaiting a diagnosis by doctor’s before determining whether or not to sue Miguel.
