The spotlight was indeed on the lovely Kelly Rowland this week!

The Grammy-winning singer dropped her highly anticipated album, Talk a Good Game  on Tuesday. She performed her latest hit single, “Street life” featuring Pusha T on Good Morning American  on Wednesday and ended the week on Thursday with a press conference promoting her new X Factor  gig.

Despite the “eyebrow raising” lyrics, Rowland says she is not jealous of her “sistah” in a recent interview with In Touch magazine:

“I’m not saying I’m jealous of her by any means!” explaining the song is about “personal battles” and not her childhood friend. “It’s so sad that people always go straight to that place [of jealousy]. It’s ridiculous. It’s basically about me going through some struggles in my life while she was doing her thing.”

Later, Rowland went on to explain that Beyoncé heard the song before its release and expressed nothing but love for the record.

“She’s incredibly supportive,” Kelly gushes of Beyoncé’s feedback. “She was proud of me and thought the song was incredible.”
