BET is reporting that newly appointed X Factor  judge Kelly Rowland is rescheduling her Lights Out tour dates with The Dream to fulfill her new duties on the music competition show.

Apparently, the duo were kicking off the tour today in Kansas City, Missouri. However, Rowland had to change her plans because multi-city auditions for the show started this week.  The tour, which was scheduled to make stops in Baltimore, Boston, NYC and Chicago, is in support of both singers new albums.

Kelly told MTV, “It’s an amazing experience to be able to perform live for your fans….The Dream and I are so grateful to have the opportunity to tour together.  Even though we’ve adjusted our original plans a bit, we’re very excited.”  The tour will begin on tomorrow Saturday (May 25) at the Riverfest in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Speaking of X Factor,  check out photos below of Rowland along with judges Demi Lovato, Paulina Rubio and Simon Cowell. As previously reported Rowland judged the British version of X Factor  but dissolved that relationship due to scheduling conflicts. However, she is very eager to be a part of the US show and is looking forward to working with Simon and the ladies.

“I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and The X Factor family, says Rowland. It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the states!”
