From one Q.U.E.E.N. to another!

HipHollywood.com is reporting that vocalist Janelle Monae is replacing the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin for a gig with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Reportedly, Ms. Franklin is not able to perform later on this month because of orders from her doctor. Franklin will be receiving an “unknown” medical treatment during the time of the Chi-Town engagement and Monae agreed to step in for the musical legend. The Chicago Symphony Orchestra announced the information on Monday followed by a tweet from Monae confirming the news:

Monae, who is known for her eclectic musical styling, most recently released her new single with Erykah Badu, entitled Q.U.E.E.N. Check it out below.
