Versatile actor Terrence Howard is gearing up to play a ruthless crime lord in a new action thriller called “Dead Man Down.”
According to Indie Wire, Dead Man Down also stars Noomi Rapace and Colin Farrell and is directed by Niels Arden Oplev. This is the second time Oplev has worked with Rapace. He directed her in the original version of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.”
Dead Man Down revolves around Beatrice (Rapace), a mysterious woman who blackmails a criminal, Victor (Farrell) into killing an underground New York crime boss Hoyt (Howard). She wants him dead as revenge for a previous violent act against her. Turns out that Victor is Hoyt’s right hand man.
