Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant is on a ‘mission’ to end homelessness…literally!

The championship basketball player has released a five-part web series that address Los Angeles’ homeless situation. The series entitled, Mission  follows Bryant as he sits down and has candid conversations with men and women inhabiting Skid Row, the nation’s largest population of homeless.

Bryant was inspired to do something about the situation after taking notice of the area one day after a leaving the Staples Center.  He has been working diligently with The Los Angeles Mission, a non-profit organization that cares for the people on Skid Row.

“The hardest thing about it is understanding how to help people who don’t want to be helped or know they need help…we can easily sit back and say well they made their bed, now they have to lie in it, but what type of people are we to do that”
