While attending the Red Carpet Atlanta premiere of “Think Like A Man,” RC got a chance to chat with Ne-Yo, Jasmine Guy, Terri J. Vaughn, Selita Ebanks and RL from the R&B group Next about their latest projects and happenings.

Jasmine Guy
Actress-director Jasmine Guy has been very busy these days working on two television pilots and a play based on her book, “Afeni Shakur: Evolution of a Revolutionary” about the life of Afeni Shakur. Shakur was a Black Panther and mother of Hip Hop Icon, Tupac Shakur. Guy told us to keep our fingers cross with the hopes that one of her pilots will air real soon.
Ne-Yo
Singer-actor Ne-Yo is officially the Senior Vice President of Motown’s A&R. The father of two, says that he is scouting new talent and will also be debuting some new acts of his own fairly soon. Ne-Yo has his own hat line Francis Ellargo at Saks Fifth Avenue and most recently launched his own adult beverage entitled Malibu Red. He is currently working on a new album due out in September.
Terrance J and Selita Ebanks
Former Victoria Secrets’ angel Selita Ebanks just recently hosted BET’s Rip the Runway for the second year in a row. Ebanks was especially excited this year because she was debuted her highly anticipated swim suit line, “Sass By Selita.” She is also teaming up with Kanye West on May 4th in her native Cayman Island for a major fundraiser to support her after school program, Stardom Youth Foundation. Ebanks has invited “Think Like A Man” star Regina Hall as well as Russell Simmons. 106 and Park’s Terrance J will serve as host.
RL from Next
RL, R&B vocalist and lead singer of the group Next has been keeping busy writing songs for J Holiday, Usher, Lloyd and most recently, Mindless Behavior. The singer-songwriter told us that he was returning to the studio with his solo project called “Minnesota Nights” and that he would be reuniting with the original members of Next for a new album called “Music 101.” RL, who recently celebrated his 35th birthday on Monday, April 2nd says that he and the group are ready to take the “youngins” back to school with this album.
Terri J. Vaughn
Actress Terri J. Vaughn has her hands tied to a number of projects these days including a new show on BET called “Young Man on Campus” co-starring with Jacob Lattimore and Vanessa Simmons. Vaughn is also the co-owner of the Atlanta-based restaurant The Green Room and is currently on the GMC’s show, Sugar Mamas . Lastly, Vaughn has a cameo appearance in the soon to be released, “Think Like A Man” and independent film entitled, Life Love Soul. Let’s just say that Terri J. Vaughn is a woman on the go!
