The cast of the hugely popular 90’s sketch comedy show, “In Living Color’ received the Groundbreaking Award at this year’s TV Land Awards.
“In Living Color” was created by Keenan Ivory Wayans and included his family [Shawn, Kim, and Marlon] as well as three unknown comedians Jim Carrey, David Alan Grier and Jamie Foxx.
Former cast members Kelly Cofield Park, T’Keyah Crystal Keymah, Tommy Davidson and David Alan Grier were on hand to receive the award along with the Wayans Family.
Comedian Whoopi Goldberg presented the award to the motley crew of actors and comedians whose memorable characters include Homey D. Clown, Fire Marshall Bill and Benita Butrell.
This 10th year anniversary show is hosted by Kelly Ripa with a special performance by the “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin. The TV Land Awards airs Sunday, April 29 at 9pm/EST
