Taped at the historic Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, the two-hour show boasts an impressive line-up of some of today’s most recognizable names in R&B and gospel music.

This year’s telecast promises to “bring down the house” with rousing performances by Ledisi, Faith Evans, Issac Carree with Fonzworth Bentley, The Rance Allen Group and Ricky Dillard and New G Choir featuring Johnny Gill.

“Glee” star Amber Riley and Original Dream Girl Jennifer Holliday join Yolanda Adams and gospel living legend, Pastor Shirley Caesar for a musical tribute to the “Mother of Gospel Music,” Ms. Mahalia Jackson.  Kelly Price honors the life and gospel music heritage of her friend, the late Whitney Houston with a beautiful rendition of “Jesus Loves Me.”

Other show highlights include performances by Kirk Franklin and Mali Music, James Fortune & Fiya with Zacardi Cortez and Sunday Best  winner Le’Andria Johnson along with spoken word selections from Wendy Raquel Robinson of “THE GAME” and the one and only, Dr. Bobby Jones.

This year’s #1 gospel telecast is once again hosted by actor, comedian, author and radio personality Steve Harvey.
