The multi-talented Tyler Perry has ‘flipped the script’ and changed the name of his forth-coming movie from The Marriage Counselor to Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.
The new flick, which stars Kim Kardashian, Brandy Norwood, Jurnee Smollett, Vanessa Williams and Lance Gross, is about “a woman who starts to get restless in her relationship and her choice to be with another man has a huge effect on the rest of her life…She goes on a journey -– in her career and in her marriage -– and she ends up in a very different place than she expected,” says Perry.
While he has offered no explanation for the name change, Perry did respond to the negative backlash he received from fans about Kim Kardashian being cast in the film. Perry responded via his blog:
“LOL. Y’all gave me a new movie title, Tyler Perry’s “Diary of a Mad Black Woman Cause You Hired Kim Kardashian, Don’t Make Me Take Off My Earrings and Boycott Yo A**.”…LOL.”
