Anthony Hamilton and Marsha Ambrosius to sing a duet for ‘The Best Man Holiday’

Posted by | Ray Cornelius

More exciting news is coming forth about The Best Man Holiday.

According to the film’s director, Malcolm D. Lee, neo-soul superstars Anthony Hamilton and Marsha Ambrosius are performing a song in the film.  Apparently, Lee posted the information recently via Twitter congratulating both singers and the cast for a job well done:

MarshaI said it once and I’ll say it again: The Best Man Holiday has an awesome cast. Incredible work today for an incredible sequence! @TayeDiggs @NiaLong @justsanaa @Morris_Chestnut @HaroldPerrineau @Real_Terrence_H @monicacalhoun1 plus @HamiltonAnthony the the lovely @MarshaAmbrosius perform a classic song . What a day! Goodnight!

What’s not clear from the tweet, however, is what song the two are singing. Is it a classic? Is it a new cut? I guess we will just have to find out when the movie lands in theaters Friday, November 15.

As previously reported, The Best Man Holiday features all the original cast members as they “reunite over the Christmas Holiday and discover how easy it is for long –forgotten rivalries and romances to be ignited.”

What song do you think Anthony Hamilton and Marsha Ambrosius are singing?
