Fashion maven Rihanna is bringing her new reality show, Style to Rock stateside.
According to BET, Rih Rih’s fashion competition TV series which premiered on the UK’s Skyliving this summer is set to debut in the U.S. on the Style Network in 2013.
RC reported about the show back in July which features 12 designer hopefuls, handpicked by Rihanna, who will get a chance to create fashions for top celebrities. The hour long, 10-episode series will take viewers behind-the-scenes as contestants compete to become the next fashion design star.
“Fashion has always played an integral part of my life and career,” Rihanna said in a statement. “I am so excited to partner with Style Network and share my creative insight with these 12 designers and give them this opportunity to showcase their work.”
We can’t wait to see what these budding designers have in store. In the meantime, check out Rihanna’s latest performance of her song “Stay” from the new “Unapologetic” CD. The singer performed the tune and “We Found Love” on the season finale of The X Factor UK.
