Indie Wire is reporting that Nick Cannon has signed a first look production deal with NBC, to develop scripted and unscripted programming for the network.
This is a power move for Nick who is already working on several projects including a sequel to Drumline, a reboot of his MTV show Wild’n Out and he is starring in BET’s newest comedy Real Husbands of Hollywood alongside Kevin Hart and Boris Kodjoe.
In other TV news, former Scrubs star Donald Faison will soon host a new hidden camera show for TBS called Who Gets the Last Laugh?

The show features comedians playing practical jokes on an unsuspecting public and is slated to air in the Spring of 2013. Who Gets comes from Punk’d co-creators Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg and features the likes of comedians Andy Dick, DL Hughley and Bam Margera. The winner of each episode gets $10,000 for their charity of choice. You can catch Faison each week on TV Land’s The Exes.
