THR is confirming that Justin Timberlake will perform his first solo concert in years during the Super Bowl weekend.
The show, which benefits Shriners Hospital for Children, will take place on February 2 at the DTV SuperFan Stadium in New Orleans. The Roots’ ?uestlove will spin before and after Timberlake’s performance and is hosted by AXS TV.
Timberlake’s recent single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z, debuted recently at No. 14 on the Billboard Pop song chart and had the highest first-week plays total in the chart’s 20-year history. The single is also the highest mark for a song by a male artist.
Timberlake’s show will also coincide with the annual Celebrity Beach Bowl, a star-studded football game featuring Snoop Dogg, Jenny McCarthy, Deion Sanders, Warren Moon and more.
Justin’s new video for “Suit & Tie” will premiere tomorrow, Jan. 24.
