Chris Brown ain’t about that life no more!
The Grammy-winning singer and dancer says he’s tired of his life being on public trial and is considering early retirement after his next album. The 24-year-old tweeted Tuesday morning that he’s had it with being famous and wants out of the music industry.
“Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!” Brown then came back with another tweet saying, “Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.”
So, is this the end for Brown?
Well, let’s just say it hasn’t been easy for Breezy to get back on mainstream America’s good side since the 2009 assault on Rihanna. No matter how much he has tried to put it behind him, the incident is still on the forefront of a lot of people’s psyche. Since that time Chris has had his share of public melt downs and his “on again, off again” relationship with both Rihanna and model Karrueche Tran is rather pathetic.
Oh, and we can’t forget the recent misdemeanor charges stemming from the May hit and run situation, where his probation was revoked and if convicted, could land him in jail. I think when you add all of that up and the fact that he is constantly hounded by the paps, could easily make a person want to get away from the chaos.
Let’s just hope this is something he can get over and quickly. Like Winston Churchill said, “If you’re going thru hell, keep going.”
What are your thoughts? Do you think Chris Brown should leave the music industry?
