Mega-star Beyoncé has confirmed that she is indeed the halftime performer for next year’s Super Bowl.
According to the HipHopDX, Bey posted the above photo on her Tumblr page confirming that she will take to the stage on February 3, 2013 at the New Orleans Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Rumors were circulating earlier today but nothing was confirmed.
Beyoncé’s show will most likely include surprise performances from her husband Jay-Z and former DC band mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. An official announcement will be made tomorrow.
Beyoncé joins an elite list of musical divas that have held court during halftime including Madonna, Janet Jackson and the legendary Diana Ross.
