“Resident Evil” star Boris Kodjoe has been cast as a lead in the new Lions Gate film “Addicted.”
According to THR, the movie is based on a novel by NYT best-selling author Zane. The story is about Zoe, a woman in a perfectly quaint marriage. The couple is busy raising three children while devoted to their careers. However, Zoe’s sexual desires are not totally being fulfilled at home and she soon finds herself satisfying her addiction with other men.
The film will also stars Sharon Leal and William Levy. Reports are saying that Tasha Smith is also in talks to play the therapist.
Kodjoe is a former model who has also appeared in Brown Sugar, Madea’s Family Reunion, The Gospel and is best known for his role as Damon Carter on the hugely popular Showtime series Soul Food. He is also married to actress Nicole Ari Parker.
