It was only a couple of weeks ago that Jay-Z’s role in the music of Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby” was clarified. He’s the Soundtrack Executive Producer, and word is starting trickle out on who Hov is bringing with him for the soundtrack of Luhrmann’s flashy adaptation. Hint: He put a ring on it.
E! News is reporting that Mrs. Carter herself, and one-woman power outage, Beyoncé will cover the late Amy Winehouse’s “Back To Black” with Andre 3000. While the news is a little bit out of nowhere, it’s exactly the sort of that we were expecting and hoping for when Jay-Z was first attached to soundtrack.
