The Queen Bey is back in the studio working on a fifth album. According to the Culture Map Houston, Beyoncé along with her mother aka Miss Tina and sister Solange were on a recent tour of Houston’s Menil Collection when the singer revealed to the museum’s curator Toby Kamps that she was working on a new album.

“Beyoncé told Kamps that she is about to start recording a new album but not before her merry band visits Marfa to view the Donald Judd and Dan Flavin works at the Chinati Foundation.”

The women were said to be very intrigued by Yves Klein’s blue paintings…for obvious reasons…as well as Magritte’s surrealist paintings, Max Ernst Bronzes and work by a lesser-known surrealist Victor Brauner.

Maybe Bey was getting some inspiration for this next project?  Only time will tell…

No word yet on when that new album will drop. In the meantime, look for Beyoncé to appear as the voice Queen Tara in the cartoon Epic, scheduled to be released on May 24, 2013.
