Some things really do get better with time…
Check out the recent performance of the Queen of Soul—Aretha Franklin belting out her signature tune, “(You Make Me Feel Like) Natural Woman.” She performed the 1967 classic during Tuesday night’s airing of The Kennedy Center Honors program where the song’s co-writer Carole King was being recognized.
King could hardly control herself as Franklin made her way to the piano (in fur coat and all) to sing her famous recording. Franklin also managed to get a single tear out of President Barack Obama and had How To Get Away With Murder actress Viola Davis waving her hands in the air!
It was truly one of Aretha’s best performances! Take a look below:
