Filmmaker, Spike Lee has a ‘new joint’ coming out in August! Red Hook Summer follows Flik Royale (Jules Brown), a thirteen-year old boy, from Atlanta who is sent to live with his preacher uncle (Clark Peters), Da Good Bishop Enoch Rouse, in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
In the film, Lee will reprise his role as Mookie; the main character from his 1989 film Do the Right Thing. This will also mark the first time that Lee has acted in one of his films since Summer of Sam (1999). [youtube id=”5YRLI-pdxn8″ width=”600″ height=”350″]Will you head to theatres to see this film?
