VIBE is reporting that music icon Prince will make a rare appearance on the Fox comedy, New Girl. Reportedly, his royal badness is a fan of the show and will appear as himself in some sort of “post Super Bowl” episode that also includes interfering with Nick and Jess’ relationship.
Execs for the show have been trying to book him for quite some time. The episode will air on February 2, 2014.
As previously reported, 2014 is already turning into a banner year for Prince. ESSENCE recently announced that he would be headlining their Essence Music Fest next July. Ironically, the invite coincides with the 30th anniversary of his cult classic album, Purple Rain (that’s what I call perfect timing).
