BET is reporting that Jay Z is bringing his Magna Carta tour to North America beginning this fall.
Reportedly, Live Nation made the announcement on Monday. Although no specific dates or cities have been released, it will mostly likely begin after his European tour, which kicks off in the UK on October 3.
Ironically, Jay just recently wrapped up the Legends of the Summer tour with Justin Timberlake, which ran for the past few months. The two global icons appeared on each other’s albums, Jay on JT’s “Suit and Tie” and JT on Jay’s “Holy Grail,” which premiered last week on Facebook.
In addition to the tour, Jay’s fall celebration will also include the debut of his music documentary, Made in America, on Showtime. The cable giant recently acquired rights to the film that chronicles two days of Jay’s 2012 festival in Philadelphia. According to THR, the film will premiere on Saturday, September 7 at the Toronto Film Festival first before it makes its television debut on Friday, Oct. 11.
Made in America features performances from Pearl Jam, Run D.M.C., Kanye West and several others and was directed by Ron Howard.
