Lee Daniels’ The Butler rocked the box office again this weekend for the third week in a row!
The film beat out One Direction: This is Us, producing a whopping $20 million, compared to One Direction which brought in a very close $18 million.
According to Indie Wire, the three week winning streak for Butler makes it the first film this year to be the No. 1 film at the box office for three weeks in a row with a grand total to date of 79.3 million.
Kudos to Lee and his all-star cast!
