According to AP news, comedian Kevin Hart was arrested Sunday morning for suspected drunk driving while on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles. Highway Patrol Officer Ed Jacobs, is saying that Hart was speeding over 90 mph in his black Mercedes when he nearly slammed in a gas tanker. Hart failed the sobriety test he was pulled over and was held for a misdemeanor DUI.
“I was actually drunk, so there’s no arguing that,” Hart told TMZ. He also confesses that he was charged with resisting arrest because he was trying to take off his watch while being handcuffed. Hart’s female passenger, who was not identified, was sent home in a taxi.
Hart is the star of BET’s hit reality series The Real Husbands of Hollywood. He is also starring in a new stand-up flick, “Let Me Explain” and was recently on the cover of EBONY.
