Columbia Pictures has released a new teaser trailer and first look images of Denzel Washington in the Antoine Fuqua directed drama The Equalizer 2. It arrives in theaters this summer on July 20.
This is Washington’s first sequel as Robert McCall, who serves an unflinching justice for the exploited and oppressed. The question this second time around is…how far will he go when that is someone he loves?
The Equalizer 2 also features Pedro Pascal, Bill Pullman, Melissa Leo, Ashton Sanders and Jonathan Scarfe. It is based on the popular 80’s TV series of the same name and starred the late Edward Woodard in the title role.
