Grammy Award-winning songstress Regina Belle is the subject of Sunday night’s new episode of TV One’s UNSUNG. The accomplished singer-songwriter and overall music diva opens up about her greatest accomplishments as well as some hurdles that could have totally altered her life and career. However, Belle was able to move past her obstacles and continues to mesmerize audiences today with her undeniable talent and showmanship.
I interviewed her earlier this week for the “Black Music Month” segment of UPFRONT and had way too much fun. She took me down memory lane as she revealed the backstories to some of her most beloved songs: “All I Want is Forever,” “A Whole New World,” “If I Could” and her remake of the Phyllis Hyman classic, “You Know How to Love Me.”
