Will Packer + Universal Pictures = A New Comedy ‘Fight Night’

Posted by | Ray Cornelius

Award winning film producer Will “Power” Packer is teaming up with Universal Pictures for a new comedy titled Fight Night.

According to Packer’s Instagram page, Fight Night is the story of Atlanta-based hustler Gordon “Chicken Man” Williams and Atlanta’s first black detective, JD Hudson. Set in 1970 on the eve of Muhammad Ali’s comeback fight in Atlanta, the film centers on a post-fight party thrown by Williams that was attended by the most dangerous gangsters in the country. They were all robbed at gunpoint of more than $1 million, making it to this day the largest heist in Georgia history.

S&A is reporting that the film will be written by Lars Jacobson along with Packer co-producing and lifestyle guru Kenny Burns serving as executive producer. He is credited with bringing the story to Packer’s attention.

RC will keep you posted as this project continues to develop.

I’m impressed, I have to admit. Seldom do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and engaging,
and let me tell you, you have hit the nail
on the head. The problem is something which
too few men and women are speaking intelligently about.

I’m very happy that I found this in my search for something relating to this.

It is the best time to make some plans for the future and it’s time to be
happy. I have read this post and if I could I want to suggest you few
interesting things or suggestions. Maybe you could write
next articles referring to this article. I want to read even more things
about it!

My partner and I stumbled over here by a different page and thought I should check things out.
I like what I see so i am just following you. Look forward to looking into your web
page for a second time.

Hello! I could have sworn I’ve been to your blog before
but after browsing through a few of the articles I realized it’s new to me.
Anyways, I’m certainly pleased I stumbled upon it and I’ll be bookmarking it and checking back regularly!
