The reigning queen of neo-soul, Erykah Badu is hitting the road this summer and fall in a brand new tour. The “Badu vs. Everythang Tour 2017 A.D.” will kick off this week beginning Saturday, May 6th at Birmingham’s Funk Fest.
Badu will also make stops at London’s Hammerstein Theatre (July 6 & 7), the legendary Montreaux Jazz Festival (July 11), NYC’s Meadows Music and Arts Festival (September 16) and the Tokyo Soul Camp Fest. (October 7). Other cities include Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Charlotte, Chicago, Atlanta and Copenhagen, Denmark.
According to ESSENCE Badu is possibly planning a 20th Anniversary Concert for her groundbreaking album, Baduizm in London, England. No information has been announced but trust and believe, we’ll make sure to follow up with all of the details .
